- Is it really the case that the Remote here works with BT? So I can't operate it via Harmony (IR)? - Can I switch on/off with FB? - WOL?

Helpful answer
So I found it, source Harmony

**SHIELD Android TV (2015),
SHIELD Android TV Pro (2015)
SHIELD TV Pro (2017)
support Bluetooth and infrared remote controls.

SHIELD TV (2017)
supports Bluetooth only

and requires a Harmony Hub for proper control.

To determine if you are using a SHIELD TV (2017), look on the back of the SHIELD device. If there is no SD card slot there, your device is a SHIELD TV (2017).

Hi, I have been operating the first generation Shield with a Harmony via IR for a long time. Everything works (including standby and wake-up), although not quite as quickly as via BT and the Shield Remote or the controller. However, the Shield is practically never switched off completely.

- Yes, with BT, I suspect that IR does not work.
- I always put the SHIELD into sleep mode, so the TV (Samsung) and the home cinema (Samsung) are switched off directly, and with the SHIELD remote control it then switches the shield, TV and home cinema on again.
- WOL I do not know

Does not have IR and therefore cannot be operated with an older Harmony. However, the new Harmonys (with hub) also have BT.
