Question about Optoma UHZ65UST
??? Image only 50% ??? The Optoma was delivered to me about 4 weeks ago. I was very impressed with the picture quality. However, after using it about 10 times, only the right part of the image was projected when I started it up. This did not improve after repeated restarts and so I now have a picture split vertically down the middle. The right part is in very good quality, the left is black. The unit has not been moved and no children's hands or pets have touched the Optoma. Does anyone know this problem and have any advice?
I also suspect a defect in the mirror. Regardless of whether it is looped or not. One half ok, one half not. A clear case, since the laser always hits the mirror.
It is probably a defect in a mirror. The pixels are shifted. Occasionally, one half of the picture flickers when I switch to another HDMI input. But that goes away within a few seconds.
I would return it or send it in.
