Each 288-pin DIMM uses gold-plated contact fingers. The electrical and mechanical specifications comply with JEDEC standards. Supports Intel Extreme Memory Profile. Manual overclocking of your DRAM can be a lot of fun, but it also requires time to set it up ideally. XMP support allows for hassle-free, automatic overclocking if you have a motherboard that supports XMP. This way, you get reliable performance without freezes or other strange behavior.
