4. RØDE Wireless GO II TX
Compact module (4 x 4 cm) that allows the Wireless GO II Single System to be expanded with a second transmitter - ideal for interviews. The integrated miniature condenser microphone delivers crystal-clear audio quality. An external microphone can also be connected to the 3.5 mm TRS socket, with the Wireless GO II TX functioning purely as a transmitter. The built-in audio memory in the module allows for up to 40 hours of onboard recording for backup purposes.
The wireless transmission occurs over the license-free and registration-free 2.4 GHz band, with a range of 200 m in clear line of sight. The internal LiPo battery provides power for at least 5 hours. Charging, configuration, firmware updates, and backup transfer are done via USB-C. The package includes two furry windshields for outdoor recordings (one as a spare) and a 30 cm USB-C to UBC cable. The manufacturing of the Wireless GO II TX takes place in RØDE's precision facility in Sydney, Australia.

The Rode VXLR+ XLR adapter regulates phantom power (12-48V) down to plugin power (3-5V) using an integrated voltage converter, allowing the connection of small microphones to professional XLR connections with phantom power. For small microphones like the Videomic GO, Videomicro, or HS2 headset, the voltage of 12-48V is too high, and the microphones would be damaged if attempted to be operated via a professional XLR connection. With the VXLR+, these microphones can be easily connected to a professional mixer or to an XLR input of a video camera. The 3.5mm mini jack connection features a thread that fits the Rode HS2 headset, preventing accidental disconnection of the cable.
