The PCI-Express Controller AXAGON PCES-SA6 expands the computer with six high-speed SATA III ports, offering a data transfer rate of up to 6 Gb/s. 4. Axagon PCEM2-N
With the PCEM2-N, AXAGON offers an internal adapter that connects an NVMe M.2 SSD to the PC via a PCI-Express slot. This is particularly useful when the motherboard does not have a suitable M.2 slot or when those slots are already occupied. The adapter allows the use of single-sided and double-sided M.2 SSDs in x16, x8, and x4 PCIe 3.0 slots.
The PCI-Express bus powers the PCEM2-N directly, eliminating the need for an external power source. Thermal pads and copper ventilation openings help dissipate the heat generated by the M.2 SSDs under load. Two LED indicators provide information on the connection status and data transfer activity.
