The WSU-1 is a universal windscreen that effectively reduces wind noise. It can be used with the H1, H2n, H4n, H5, and H6 handheld recorders, as well as with the iQ5 microphone and the Q2HD handheld video recorder.
2. Zoom VRH-8 Ambisonic Mic Capsule for H8
The VRH-8 is an Ambisonic microphone capsule that contains four condenser microphones for immersive 360° audio recordings. An internal accelerometer ensures that the capsule is always correctly oriented, while the integrated Ambisonic decoder automatically performs the necessary conversions, saving time during post-production.
