Machined from solid aluminum, this backplate can be mounted in addition to a Kryographics NEXT RX 6800 / RX 6900 water cooler, significantly improving power distribution in the voltage regulator area. The backplate is black anodized. For optimal heat dissipation, the backplate is directly connected to the water circuit via a heat pipe. To do this, the connection terminal of the graphics card cooler is removed, and then the graphics card cooler is directly connected to the heat pipe connection terminal of the backplate. 7. Aqua Computer Backplate for kryographics NEXT RTX 2080, passive

Machined from solid aluminum, this backplate can be mounted in addition to a Kryographics NEXT 2080, significantly improving the load distribution in the area of the voltage regulators. The backplate is black anodized and features milled contact surfaces for the rear RAM modules of the graphics card.

In addition to enhancing aesthetics, the backplate provides greater stability for the graphics card when using a water cooler. This effectively prevents the PCB from bending due to uneven tightening of the screws during the installation of the main cooler, thus avoiding prolonged stress.

The backplate is not compatible with the RTX original cooler, is not water-cooled, is not primarily intended as a heatsink, and cannot be used independently. However, it is fully compatible with all Kryographics NEXT 2080 water coolers from aqua computer. The required screws are included in the package.

The solid aluminium backplate is the matching counterpart for the Cryographics NEXT 3080 water cooler from Aqua Computer. The stability is greatly improved, especially around the voltage regulator area. The backplate is black anodised. Important: Delivery without graphics card and without Cryographics water cooler.

9. Aqua Computer kryoconnect for cryographics with active backplates, width

The Kryoconnect direct connection kit allows for the direct screwing together of two water coolers from the Kryographics series with active backplates into a single block and can be used for SLI or Crossfire systems. The conversion kit consists of a Delrin connection terminal to which the water coolers are mounted (the pre-assembled connection terminals are replaced). There must be an empty slot between the PCIe slots on the motherboard. Please select the correct item for your motherboard! An included closure screw allows for either a series or parallel connection of the two water coolers, depending on the installation.

Suitable for the following water coolers:
Kryographics for GTX Titan
Kryographics for GTX 780

Each requires an empty slot between the PCIe sockets.

1 closure screw (set screw G1/4)

Notes:
Delivery does not include water coolers, backplates, graphics cards, or connections! The depicted closure screws G1/4 are part of the water cooler's delivery and are not included in the Kryoconnect connection kit! SLI or Crossfire operation is also possible without this conversion kit! Operation without active backplates is not possible with this Kryoconnect.
