BrightDots are small, portable modules with one or more LEDs that are controlled via a development board compatible with Arduino.
The complete collection features various addressable modules with RGB LEDs that can be individually controlled. Additionally, we have developed a versatile development board compatible with Arduino, allowing you to create bright, portable, and smart items.
The set includes 5 BrightDot modules with one LED each. The circuit board is very thin and has gold-plated contacts with 6 holes (1.22 mm) for sewing. Each model is also equipped with backup lines to ensure that a defective LED does not affect the other LEDs.
Each LED is controlled by 3 wires (power, ground, and data) and can be connected to the next LED through these wires, creating a long chain of LEDs. These LEDs can be soldered or sewn into clothing, backpacks, shoes, etc.

This set is ideal for powering your Brightdot projects and other electronic circuits.
The set includes a battery pack for 3 AA batteries with an on/off switch and a cable for connecting to the wearable development board. This battery pack can power a wearable development board and 10 blinking BrightDot LEDs (not modules, maximum brightness) for over 8 hours.
For safety reasons and to avoid short circuits, you can also add a fuse board. This protects the batteries and prevents fire hazards. The fuse board can be easily connected to the development board using the included cable. Always be cautious and play it safe when using electronics kits.
