With the Z-Wave.Me RaZberry, you can transform the Raspberry Pi into a Z-Wave Smart Home Gateway. The hardware and precompiled Z-Wave controller software can be equipped with a custom user interface. The Z-Wave software, based on the JavaScript Interface technology JSON, is particularly user-friendly. It has never been easier to program your own Smart Home apps! The RaZberry 2 features an optimized antenna, allowing for ranges of up to 200 meters.

The RaZberry consists of the following components:

  • Z-Wave transceiver that plugs into the GPIO interface of the Raspberry Pi.
  • Optimized transceiver firmware running on the Z-Wave chip.
  • Certified Z-Wave communication stack Z-Way running on the Raspberry Pi, providing a JSON interface.
  • Z-Way AJAX demo interface allows access to all Z-Wave functions and demonstrates the use of the JSON interface.

Please note: The delivery includes only the Z-Wave plug-in module and the necessary software. The Raspberry Pi baseboard is not included.
