Many program contents in brilliant picture quality - up to Full HD. Thanks to the integrated Irdeto decryption system, the receiver not only receives public broadcasters but also private channels. The Irdeto Cloaked CA operates without additional modules and smart cards.

The initial setup of the receiver is completed in just a few button presses. Clear and easy-to-understand on-screen menus facilitate further settings and daily operation.

The two reception units (TWIN Tuner) of the HRT 8770 TWIN require no complicated settings, no additional cables, and no special antenna. Once the initial setup is complete, both reception units are automatically available. While recording one channel, it is possible to switch to another channel. Of course, the HRT 8770 TWIN can also record two programs simultaneously. This works both at the push of a button and via timer control. While the receiver is recording, it can simultaneously play back existing recordings.

Time-shifted television (Timeshift) is also possible. To use the recording and timeshift function, simply connect a USB hard drive to the receiver.

The receiver is also suitable for receiving unencrypted channels of digital cable television.
