The Qube XL is a high-end streaming speaker with a built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi receiver, as well as an amplifier with DSP (Digital Signal Processor). A custom algorithm has been developed for the DSP chip, which performs dynamic sound adjustment within the speaker. This technology, known as WHD Adaptive Sound Plus, ensures that listeners experience high-quality sound even at low volumes. Depending on the placement, three presets can be selected: None, Wall, or Corner. Additionally, an external audio source can be connected to the Qube XL via Line-In using RCA cables, and a music zone can be created for up to two Qube XL speakers without Wi-Fi. The Qube XL already has internet radio built-in, allowing users to listen to internet radio without a smartphone or tablet. When the Qube XL is not playing an internal internet radio station, it receives music from a smartphone or tablet through the WHD Multiplayer app or any music apps via AirPlay, DLNA, or UPnP, and plays it through the connected speakers. The Qube XL can also be operated using buttons on the device (Pause/Play, Skip, VOL +/-). Like all WHD Wi-Fi receivers and speakers, the Qube XL is compatible with Spotify Connect. An optional KNX gateway can control all WHD Wi-Fi devices. For example, you can select an internet radio station via KNX, which will play directly without the need for a smartphone or tablet. Additionally, the volume can be adjusted and the module can be turned off via KNX. The WH QB 300 ball joint mount is available as an accessory.
