The standard distributor FBCON SS CG 4WAY from Weidmüller is a highly functional solution for connecting field devices and sensors in industrial applications. With an IP66 protection rating, this 4-way distributor offers reliable protection against dust and water, making it ideal for use in harsh environments. The fieldbus distributors are available in both industrial and EEx (ia) versions, allowing for the coupling of 1 to 8 devices. Connections are made via flexible branch cables, which can be connected either with an M12 plug connector or directly through an EMC cable gland. The common 2-wire line ensures efficient communication and device powering. Additional features include spring connection technology, surge protection, and current limitation for each branch line, enhancing the safety and reliability of the system.
