Deltacam Duo PCMCIA CAM is the DVB-CI compatible CI-CAM that provides conditional access functionality. It is mounted on the PCMCIA module, which is attached to the digital broadcast receiver or the integrated digital television. This CI-CAM decrypts the encrypted MPEG2-TS from STB or iDTV and transmits clear or re-encrypted MPEG2-TS to iDTV or STB. It is an officially certified product with embedded CAS. The software is encrypted and signed using a current security model (RSA 2048, AES128) with a hardware-secure implementation. The CAS security keys are embedded in a chipset-protected OTP, which are also inaccessible to the main CPU. The CA chipset pairing is based on an advanced secure chipset and is approved by the CAS partners. Hardware specifications include: 4 MB serial flash, 64 MB embedded DDRSDRAM, data channel with two channels, and 2048 bytes for the high-speed host interface for PCMCIA.
