This shield enables the BBC micro:bit mainboard to control up to 16 channels for servomotors and is the best choice for building a micro:bit robot. The 16-channel servo shield for micro:bit primarily integrates the PCA9685PW chip, which communicates with the micro:bit mainboard via I2C. The servo shield features 16 IO pins for controlling 16 servomotors. For easy wiring, we extend the control pin of each channel to the GVS interface - a 3-pin header with a pitch of 2.54 mm. The voltage of the V pin on the servo shield is 5V. The servo shield can be powered either through the Micro-USB port (DC 5V input) or via 2 green terminal blocks (DC 7-12V input).
