Tokina

The Tokina SZ 300mm PRO Reflex F7.1 MF CF is a lightweight and compact mirror lens with a unique catadioptric optical design. With a focal length of 300 mm, it is the ideal choice for anyone looking to enter the world of super-telephoto photography. The lens is designed for use with mirrorless APS-C cameras and features integrated mounts for Sony E or Fujifilm X.

Thanks to its catadioptric optical design, this lens is not only lightweight and compact but also offers excellent suppression of chromatic aberrations. Conventional telephoto lenses are often bulky and heavy because they require additional color correction elements. In contrast, the Tokina SZ 300mm PRO Reflex F7.1 MF CF significantly reduces chromatic aberrations through the optical combination of mirrors and lens elements while maintaining its compact size. The lens also provides a 270° focus rotation angle, allowing for precise focusing with a shallow depth of field.

In addition to its technical features, this lens offers a unique shooting experience, as it can capture dramatic and iconic everyday scenes thanks to its compression effect. Whether you're doing street photography or capturing wildlife, the Tokina SZ 300mm PRO Reflex F7.1 MF CF allows you to explore a new world of telephoto photography. Tokina takes pride in being the only manufacturer in the world to produce and distribute a wide range of mirror lenses for amateur and professional photographers.

Lens type

Bayonet lens mount

A lens mount is an interface — mechanical and often also electrical — between a photographic camera body and a lens. It is confined to cameras where the body allows interchangeable lenses, most usually the single lens reflex type or any movie camera of 16 mm or higher gauge. Lens mounts are also used to connect optical components in instrumentation that may not involve a camera, such as the modular components used in optical laboratory prototyping which join via C-mount or T-mount elements.
