The Tokina atx-i 11-20mm F2.8 CF (CF stands for Cropped Frame) is designed as an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for DLSR cameras with APS-C sensors. It is the only ultra-wide-angle zoom lens with a continuous, fast aperture of f/2.8 for APS-C format DSLR cameras currently on the market (as of April 2020).

The focal lengths of 11-20 mm, which cover the equivalent image angles of 18 mm, 21 mm, 24 mm, 28 mm, and 32 mm fixed focal length lenses, make this lens an attractive choice after a standard zoom lens or an original wide-angle zoom kit lens.

A constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 throughout the zoom range is achieved to deliver excellent results in low light conditions, control depth of field, and facilitate manual shooting, while maintaining a reasonable size and weight for the lens.
