XS9 series inductive proximity sensors are designed with a unique one-piece housing made from 303 rugged stainless steel. The housing is extremely resistant to mechanical shock and vibration, making this series ideal for harsh industrial environments and applications such as metalworking machinery, automotive, and machining. The Factor 1 detection feature allows for the detection of both ferrous and non-ferrous materials from the same distance. The sensors have a cylindrical design, high switching frequency, and are available in flush and non-flush versions. They feature a 3-wire DC power supply, solid-state static outputs, LED indication, and reverse polarity, overload, and short circuit protection.
