The 17-70mm F/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD (Model B070) is an advanced zoom lens with a wide focal range. It is a fast standard zoom lens designed for Sony and Fujifilm mirrorless APS-C system cameras. With a focal length of 17-70mm (25.5-105mm equivalent in 35mm), it is the world's first interchangeable lens with a 4.1x standard zoom and a maximum aperture of F/2.8 for APS-C cameras. The lens is equipped with the VC image stabilization system developed by Tamron. The shortest focusing distances of 19 cm in wide-angle and 39 cm in telephoto allow for impressive close-ups with soft background blur.
