The STDC7 Clutch is a Sizzle Touch Drop-Clutch from the brand Tama. This special clutch features a rotary knob that allows for precise adjustment of the distance between the hi-hat cymbals in the dropped position. In conventional drop-clutches, the top cymbal rests completely on the bottom cymbal when dropped. The Sizzle Drop-Clutch enables the adjustment of the dropped sound. For instance, double bass parts can now be accompanied by a slightly open hi-hat. To switch back to the normal hi-hat drop-clutch mode, simply press the hi-hat pedal.
