Product details

With this riser card and cable, the PCI Express x16 slot available on a motherboard can be strategically positioned elsewhere in or outside the case according to PCIe 4.0 standards. This is particularly useful when frequently swapping different graphics cards while wanting to avoid damaging the board slot or when more space is desired during the installation of expansion cards.

In modding projects or in cases that deviate from the standard ATX format, it may be necessary or beneficial to place PCI Express expansion cards in unconventional locations. A significant advantage of a riser card is the ability to position graphics cards individually and even mount them parallel to the motherboard.

This riser card from Linkup is especially suitable for installing a graphics card in the Meshroom case series from Ssupd with a Mini-ITX motherboard. It is approximately 140 mm long, and the flexible cable can be easily bent at a 90° angle.
