Product details
You could be the world's best banana pianist, but how will you ever find out if you don't build a banana piano? We have good news for you: this and countless other projects are easier with the MaKey MaKey than you might think!
With the MaKey MaKey, you can turn just about anything into a keyboard by simply attaching a few alligator clips. The MaKey MaKey is an innovative device that convinces your computer that almost anything can be a keyboard. This allows you to use all sorts of things as keys. Play Mario with playdough or a piano with fruits.
The MaKey MaKey uses high-resistance switches to detect when a connection is made through poorly conductive materials like leaves, pasta, or even people. This technique generates quite a bit of noise at the input, and the MaKey MaKey uses a moving average calculation to filter out the noise. The onboard ATmega32u4 communicates with your computer using the HID (Human Interface Device) interface. This allows the MaKey MaKey to act like a mouse or keyboard to your computer.
