The Sony WH-1000XM6 is a great pair of headphones with first-class sound and the best noise cancellation on the market today. The headphones also have many additional functions, a long battery life and excellent call quality. At the same time, however, there are only a few innovations and improvements compared to the previous model. Added to this is the high purchase price.

When tested, the WH- 1000XM6 secured a place in the middle of the field. It scores with a fine sound and a long runtime. The strong ANC and comprehensive app are also impressive. The padding is a little thin and larger listeners may feel the inside of the ear cups. However, the cushions can be easily replaced.

The Sony WH-1000XM6 clearly outperforms its predecessors. In addition to the great sound, this is due to the outstanding battery life of over 60 hours. The ANC and app are also impressive. There are small deductions when it comes to wearing comfort: the padding is a little thin and large ears may feel the internal technology. However, the ear pads are easy to change.
