- Bright and high-contrast image with natural colours
- Very good equipment
- Sound quality only average
- Operation sometimes a little tricky
The X85L stands out from cheaper Sony televisions with its 120 hertz screen, while the next best model is much more expensive with only minor advantages. The well-balanced picture with good contrast is one of the best in this price range. The equipment is largely complete and you quickly get used to the controls.

- HDMI 2.1
- Flexible foot position
The Sony KD-55X85L full-array LCD television offers very good picture quality and great features at a pleasingly low price. The HT-S2000 soundbar is the perfect complement, as it also impresses with great performance at a reasonable price.

- Great picture quality
- Extensive equipment with full streaming offer
- Sound only average
- Operation takes some getting used to
The X85L is one of Sony's most interesting televisions. It stands out from cheaper models with its 100 Hz screen, while the next best model is much more expensive with manageable advantages. The well-balanced picture with good contrast is one of the best in this price range. The equipment is largely complete and you quickly get used to the operation.

The 55-inch Sony X85L is an ideal smart TV for everyday use. It is easy to set up and operate and conveniently comes with two remote controls. Visually, it looks discreet, classic and elegant, and it has no real weaknesses either acoustically or visually. Its only problem is that many extremely good 2023 OLED TVs, also in 55 inch, are not that much more expensive.
