The market for portable speakers with AirPlay is still small, but is growing steadily. There were no real failures in our test, with the Beosound A5 definitely leading the ranking in terms of sound. It is followed at some distance by the Sonos Move 2, the Teufel Motiv Home and the Bose Portable Smart Speaker, closely followed by the Boombox and Authentics from JBL...

The Move 2 scores above all with many technical improvements, thanks to which it can be used even more universally. In terms of sound, the now cheaper predecessor was already strong.

With Bluetooth in addition to Wi-Fi and a very long-lasting battery, the new Sonos Move 2 is versatile. With its carrying tray and robust design, the speaker looks like it was made for mobile use, but the other qualities are just as appealing for stationary use: Swipe and tap operation has been simplified compared to its predecessor, and the Sonos app is as versatile as ever...

A compact speaker with excellent sound. The workmanship and operation are excellent. We also particularly like the fact that the battery is replaceable.
