Furthermore, the Smit Conax modules can be decoded from the pay-TV packages "television for me" and "US Entertain" via the Eurobird 9A satellite at the 9 degrees East position using this module. The authorization to use the decryption method provided (by the respective CI module) is verified by means of a smart card (authentication). A smartcard is therefore essential for the final decryption of the data sent.
