In fact, many of the issues attributed to hotends or nozzles can be traced back to filament that has absorbed too much moisture. Slice Engineering is based in humid Florida, which led to the search for a simple way to prevent moisture from damaging the printers. The 3D printer filament desiccant was the result. Usage: To use the desiccant for 3D printer filament, simply remove the outer shrink wrap and take off the cap, then place the container in the center of the filament spool. Store the spool in an airtight container and watch the humidity drop.
