With the SilverStone SST-G11313530-RT USB-C retrofit kit, you can easily upgrade to USB-C 3.1 Gen. 2 on the front panel of your SilverStone case. The replacement offers not only a USB-C port but also a USB-A port, as well as headphone and microphone jacks.

The adapter is simply plugged into the place of the old USB-A front panel connector and connected to the motherboard. The swap is reversible and can be undone at any time.

Note: According to the USB 3.1 standard, the combined length of the external and internal cables must not exceed 1,000 mm to achieve the maximum USB 3.1 Gen 2 speed. Since the internal Type-C cable of G11313530-RT already measures 600 mm, the external cable must not be longer than 400 mm.
