Seasonic has integrated a power supply tester into the box, allowing consumers to perform a quick and easy power supply jumpstart. Each power supply in the Prime Ultra series also comes with a SATA 3.3 adapter that supports the "Power Disable" (PWDIS) feature of newer, high-performance hard drives. The inline capacitors on the cables have been removed, eliminating bulkiness in the system. To maximize flexibility, the 180-degree SATA connectors provide more adaptability and easier installation.
The Prime Gold series achieves the 80 Plus Gold certification with an efficiency of 90% at 50% system load.
