The XPSMCM system is certified by TÜV SÜD according to Cat. 4 in compliance with PLe EN/ISO 13849-1 and SILCL 3 IEC/EN 61508 and IEC/EN 60261 standards. The Preventa XPSMCM expansion bus connector ensures safe communication between safe expansion components and the safety controller CPU. Only the safety controller CPU requires the purchase of the expansion bus connector; expansion modules already have one.
