The TX-XLR9 can be muted at the push of a button, and a blinking red LED serves as a reminder that it is muted. The buttons can be "locked" during use to prevent accidental muting or powering off. Additionally, the TX-XLR9 transmitter offers a selectable RF output power. With the "Low" setting, you can extend battery life in situations where the subject is close to the receiver. Medium and High settings are useful when the subject is further away or when using the TX-XLR9 in an environment with more potential interference.
