Samsung's SSD 870 EVO (4 TB) offers decent data speed at a fair price. Users also benefit from the data storage device's generous warranty.

The Samsung 860 EVO 4TB impresses with outstanding read performance in the test. And the write performance is not stingy with very high transfer rates either. In addition, there are low access times and a pleasingly low price for the 4,000 GB SSD.

At the time of the test, the Samsung 870 Evo was one of the cheapest 4-terabyte SSDs for installation in a PC or notebook, with a price of around 400 euros. The price is more than fair: The 870 Evo offers a huge amount of storage space for photos, videos and music, the read and write speed was okay in the test, and the acceleration of Windows 10 and programs was very high.
