The resurrection of the world's first chorus sounds thanks to Waza Craft. The CE-1 Chorus Ensemble, introduced in 1976, was not only the first chorus effect pedal in the world but also the beginning of the wonderful BOSS pedal story. Three years after its release, its sound was implanted into the blue CE-2 Chorus pedal. Since then, chorus pedals have been a real hit. Four decades later, BOSS reflects on the origin of an effect that is still adored by musicians. In 2016, BOSS celebrates 40 years of innovation – and the original chorus sound is, of course, included: with the Waza Craft CE-2W, it is now available again.

The Standard mode of the CE-2W produces the authentic chorus sound of the CE-2, but expands it with a stereo output that the original did not offer. The CE-1 mode, on the other hand, creates the stereo chorus and vibrato sound of the legendary CE-1, whose intensity can now be adjusted to personal preference for the first time. To celebrate the anniversary, the CE-2W, just like the first BOSS effect pedals, including the CE-1 and CE-2, is completely made in Japan.
