The SC21 Purple from RODE is a high-quality USB cable with a length of 30 cm, specifically designed for digital audio transmission. It is MFi certified and allows the connection of MFi-certified microphones such as the Wireless GO II, VideoMic NTG, and VideoMic GO II to iOS devices equipped with a Lightning port. By using this cable, the preamp/converter section of the iPhone can be elegantly bypassed, resulting in improved audio quality. A special feature is the ability to use the 3.5 mm jack as a headphone output when using the VideoMic NTG and VideoMic GO II. This makes monitoring recordings easier, as no unplugging is required on the smartphone. Please note that this cable cannot be used for charging or data transfer.
