Thanks to its minimal self-noise of only 4 dBA, the NT1 Signature Red is excellent for quiet instruments. With a maximum sound pressure level of 142 dB, there’s nothing stopping it from being used to record guitar and bass amplifiers, close-miked brass instruments, as a drum overhead, or for other loud sound sources. Its compact size and lightweight design also allow the NT1 Signature Red to be easily and stably positioned with simple stands.
