I am satisfied, it is stable and stands firmly. Ideal for larger spotting scopes and photos with telephoto lens. Small drawback is the lack of a bag and it has only one screw size on the adapter plate.
But I'm happy to put up with these two little things because everything else is just right, I say TOP!

Stable, weight good for stationary use, good head damping for filming
Price/performance is very good. with a bag included, this tripod would be a top product. my old tripod broke after 20 years. hope it lasts that long too.

Works perfectly. Excellent value for money!
The Velbon DV7000 is a good film tripod, but it is also good for photography because it is very stable. Personally, I use two tripods: a lightweight carbon tripod that is with me on every trip because of its pack size. The big disadvantage of this tripod, however, is its light weight, which makes it not stable in all situations. In addition, this is a purely photographic tripod, which is not suitable for filming. This is where the DV7000 comes in, which compensates for the weaknesses of the other tripod. I always use it when I need an absolutely stable stand and don't have to go too far with the tripod.
For this price, the DV7000 really delivers a very good performance, and the fluid head is also completely convincing.

I bought it as a replacement for the same model. Best value for money on the market.
