Switched from UE BOOM 1 to UE BOOM 2 and convinced!
I switched from the previous UE BOOM to the UE BOOM 2. Compared to the older version, the sound is much louder and the new UE Boom 2 convinces with a good bass. I also like the new gesture function (tap to start/stop). The packaging looks very similar to the UE BOOM and the size hasn't changed much either. The only thing that has changed is that the UE BOOM 2 is a bit heavier. Updating the UE BOOM 2 can now be done via the app and does not have to be connected to a computer. The only disadvantage I have noticed at the moment is that the quality of the sound suffers somewhat at maximum volume.

Clear recommendation
I am very satisfied with this speaker. The sound is outstanding and is perfectly adequate for a small flat - can be placed in the kitchen or in the bathroom, wherever you are. The battery performance is very good. The price is fair. I can't say anything bad about it.

Sound without end: everywhere & in every situation
The UE BOOM 2 are music speakers that can be used in any situation. My best piece has already survived numerous open-air concerts and holidays at home and abroad unscathed. The intended use ranges from a cosy round in the garden to "listening" while biking.
The high quality of the product is already apparent from the packaging. The features of the speaker are rather limited (3 control buttons), which is more or less sufficient. However, with the UE BOOM app, a perfectly complementary tool was provided.
The only negative aspect is that the speakers are not (yet) completely waterproof and should therefore not be used in the pool.Pro

Desireless satisfaction for the smaller price segment
Super compact speaker with a very good sound and bass. Very outdoor friendly, has already survived the one or other fall from a wall without big scratches or dents. What I find very practical is that you can connect a second boombox with the UE app (MEGA or normal boombox) and that you can check the battery level very easily by pressing the volume up and down buttons at the same time. There are no cons for me with this product, I am completely satisfied!

very much worth buying
I had the Ue Boom and bought the Ue 2 for 150.- and was positively impressed.

Hardly any recommendation
I am very happy with the UE BOOM 2. At very high volume the sound is no longer too good but who listens to music that loud :)

I don't want to miss the UEs any more.
I wasn't sure whether to go for these or the Megaboom. I mainly use them at home in the kitchen and bathroom (each approx. 10 m2), good sound, volume is also sufficient.

The UE Boom 2 offers by far the best overall package on the market. Unsurpassed at the moment!
The only reason someone might choose another device is the bass. There are better ones. Which is not to say that the bass of the UE Boom 2 is bad, quite the opposite. For me, it's more than adequate!Pro

I am super satisfied with everything - except one thing: The loud bang when switching on and off bothers me a lot. I need the UE at courses. Every time I switch it on or off, the participants get a fright!
