This is my first time jumping to 2.4-GHz wireless headsets and wasn't really expecting this hiss/white noise especially when no sound is playing
Have had many headsets, most recently the A40 MixAmp Pro from Astro.
The Arctis Pro Wireless is a clear winner in every way.
The design may be subjective, but for me it's perfect.
The comfort when wearing is extraordinarily good.
The sound is incredibly good for a wireless headset. 0 lag. Had no problems even at 15m distance.
The operation, SetUp and settings are enormously easy.
The dual battery system is really great and gives you "infinite usage".
I still have a MixAmp from Astro for the Xbox controller. If you connect this to the headset, it also works flawlessly on the Xbox.

It is already with quite high expectations to be positively surprised. Here, finally, a company has managed a product really "think to the end". Simple setup, 2 (!!) batteries with the charger integrated in the receiver, intuitive operation...

At 330 francs, they're well overpriced for what you get, which is a minimally adjustable, not overly comfortable headset that has too many unnecessary extras and not enough thought into actually providing a product that is worth the price. It looks pretty and sounds ok, but look elsewhere if you want more bass and have a larger sized melon!

I've already had several headsets. The Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless convinced me! Easy installation and great sound. Even after several hours of gaming, the headset is still comfortable to wear.

I tested the headset on the PS4 one evening and have to say, somehow I can't warm up to it.
Design / quality:
Simple, materials beautiful, looks valuable, the elastic band is an innovative idea that works. Buttons very well placed, no wobbling, the construction is really a masterpiece!
Wearing comfort:
Many warn against buying the headset if you have a larger head. I can confirm this. At the beginning of the test, I thought it was great on my head, but later I was glad to be able to put it away. The headband does not touch my head anywhere, the band is very comfortable, but I noticed the pressure on my ears after about 3 hours.
Therefore, if you have a rather round head shape, large head - no purchase recommendation.
Hat size 7 3/4 Helmet XL / 62
For average heads, the headset should be very comfortable.
Sound:
For comparison, I had all wireless headsets from Sony, currently the Sony Platinum headset, previously the Turtle Beach 800 Elite.
In terms of sound, I tried out for a long time, playing around with the settings, with the modes, via software on the PC but also directly on the receiver. I tested the headset with CoD: Blackout and OnRush.
In general I have to say that the surround sound setting doesn't really work and the mix between chat and ingame sound is extremely distorted and you have the feeling that you are playing the game in a huge hall. More on this will follow.
The ratio of chat and ingame is too rough to adjust. For me, the chat was always either too quiet or too loud, and the adjustable levels are unfortunately too coarse. In addition, when you switch to surround sound, you need different settings because the whole sound changes. The settings on the Turtle Beach and the Sony Platinum were much more precise.
In OnRush, the headset is fun, the sound is rich, and you can adjust everything to your taste, such as treble / bass, etc. In surround sound mode, it doesn't sound so bad in this game, but it becomes a little flatter.
I don't recommend the headset for CoD:Blackout. Without the surround sound, locating enemies is not very good, it's just stereo and you have to turn around in-game to give the coordinates more accurately.
With surround sound the whole thing works a little better, but it's just because of the wide hall.
Mic:
My friends were not at all enthusiastic about my "new" voice, soft, higher, etc.. But this is secondary for me, so it's average.
Conclusion:
I'm clearly sticking with my Sony Platinum headset. The sound feels better, the surround sound is much better, and the location of enemies in FPS is also much more precise.
If you only play solo and no FPS, you might be happy with it, but for me it's clear that the price alone should not be comparable to one that is half as expensive, so I do NOT RECOMMEND BUYING it,

Very weak bass, good mid-range and treble are OK, but nothing more. Unfortunately, despite support from Arctis, I have not been able to get the headset to sound reasonably OK. Additionally, depending on the game, I have no ingame chat sound. Sound profiles via the tool are mostly not accepted when you switch between the individual pre-sets, sometimes it works, sometimes not. Wearing comfort is ok, but if you have a slightly larger head you have to remove the inner flap otherwise it pulls up your ears.
On the PS4 catastrophic, game / chat mix set absolutely terrible. you have to set the slider at the second highest level on chat that you hear anything from the chat. Surround sound and sound rather poor to mediocre, I find the Sony Wireless Gold 10 times better for playing on the PS4.

I found these headphones even better than Astro A50.
I can game and connect with Bluetooth and listen to music at the same time.

Outperforms all headsets I've had in most areas.
Sound is flawless, wearing comfort is perfect and the workmanship is very high quality.
The design is great, very large but still comfortable to wear for a long time. No unnecessary LEDs or other "cool" features like many other gaming headsets.
My favourite feature is that you can play the sound of the PC via wireless and the sound of the mobile phone via Bluetooth at the same time. You can tell that the whole concept is very well thought out.
The price may be high, but I have spent more money on inferior headphones and headsets.
I am completely satisfied.

(Same headset but not ordered from Digitec)
Really good headset. Sound and microphone quality is good, even if I expected more for such a high price (I switched from a cable headset at about 70Fr., hence the high expectations).
One point I would like to address is the whitenoise. When the volume limiter is turned off, the whitenoise is relatively strong and annoying for me, as I don't always have sound on my ears. However, if you switch on the limitation (clearly recommended by me), the whitenoise is hardly noticeable any more. By the way, the volume is not bad even with limiting.
PS. If the microphone quality is poor, go to the Windows settings and see if it is set to the highest quality. For me, it was on the lowest quality by default and that caused me some headaches.

How can a NAMED manufacturer create a headset that doesn't have temples to adjust the size??? WIIIIIIEEE??????
While it does have a flex band that allows you to make the already small setting even smaller, there's nowhere to enlarge the headset so you can fit it neatly over the ear cup - and I don't have a particularly large head.....
In addition, the display of the base station flickers every now and then, but this can be remedied by briefly unplugging and plugging in the USB cable. But in my opinion, this should not happen with such an expensive headset.
Perhaps on a positive note:
What's really ingenious is that you get two batteries and while one is in the headset for gaming, you can leave the other in the base to charge, so that you NEVER have a power problem and can always spend comfortable hours gaming (as long as the headset fits the size and doesn't cause headaches).
In addition, the headset itself has a very nice and high-quality finish.
Another cool feature: additional Bluetooth! This means that while gaming, the headset is connected to my phone and I can take calls (PC sound is muffled in the background) or listen to other things from my mobile phone.
In terms of sound, the headset is very good, but there are certainly better ones....
It's certainly a great headset if it fits the size. But I wouldn't be sure if I bought it again today, even if the size suited me.......

As a guy with a kinda small and skinny head but with relatively big ears, it has been a bit tricky to learn how to wear them without hurting either my ears or my jaw muscles. The temperature inside them build up very quick and it gets real hot...I wonder if I will be able to wear them all day this summer.
That being said, I simply love them! I wear them all day every day and use them for online meeting, phone calls, listening to music and gaming. The swappable battery is an amazing feature, more headset should actually adopt this solution, so that you never end up being bound to a cable with an expensive wifi headset that you just forgot to plug in overnight.
The sound quality looks great to me, but I'm no expert. The virtual surround works surprisingly well, even though I've not tried many headset to be able to properly compare.

Great packaging, great finish and Quality.... but...
White noise all the time. Impossible to remove. send back the headset (great customer service by the way) and second headset the same. I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I'm sure it's a good idea to have the headset in my hands.
I have an arctis 5 and I'm super happy. I don't know if it's wireless related

I have been using the Arctis Pro Wireless for about a year now. Before that I used the Arctis 5. I have never been as satisfied with a headset as I am with this one. The sound is excellent, the battery life usually lasts around 15 hours and the headset is not uncomfortable to wear even in a longer section. The battery change is super fast after some getting used to. Since it takes much less time to charge than it lasts, you never have to connect the headset with the cable. Another advantage is that you can connect it to your PC and smartphone at the same time.

Great headset, definitely worth the price!
The coolest feature is the replaceable battery that can be easily charged at the charging station. So you have endless battery life!
Top sound quality. For example: CS:GO you can hear exactly where the players are coming from. You can even take the headset with you on the plane. Smartphone can be connected to the headphones via jack cable or bluetooth. in addition, you can retract the microphone, which is very practical.

Let's start at the beginning. I had a Tritton cable headset that was almost 10 years old. It was already excellent for that time in terms of sound.
+
What the Arctis Pro can do better to my ears (as it should after 10 years of development) is that it certainly has more punch in terms of bass. The sound is clear but not like coming out of a box. The highs and lows are very well balanced. Besides, this thing has so much power, I can't turn it up all the way because it gets very loud for me, especially in shooter games. With PES 20, on the other hand, you can hear every detail and it feels like you're sitting in a stadium! The range is brilliant. The box is very simple and can be operated via headset. The Chatt - Game setting is also easy to adjust with the controller, as is the volume, of course. 2 batteries, for eternal gaming :) Simply insert them into the box for charging, done!
-
I am in a certain way a little disappointed, because these headphones in countless tests, as a winner from the place goes, but my ears except more boom nothing "more" hear what they have not yet heard :) . (Must be because of my old headset from Tritton. In this case it must have been a super headset. (I don't remember which model)
Wearing comfort quite ok. It always presses on my ears despite the band setting. My ears are probably too big :) It will certainly shape itself.
TOP device
High-quality wireless headset with replaceable battery.
Works tip top and has a good sound.
I was happy about the function of the replaceable battery during several gaming sessions, good thing.
It's expensive, but ultimately worth the price.

I love it! The headset is optimal even when it's getting long ;) Thanks to the band and the interchangeable ear cups that you can buy in different colours and materials, there are almost no wishes left open. The best thing I find is the battery system. You get 2 rechargeable batteries with a runtime of 10 hours each. You can change them within 10 seconds, 1 battery is always charged while the other is used.
However, I find the metal frame a little too flat compared to the Arctis 7, and depending on the shape of your head, it can press on your skull, which is why I deduct 1 star.
You can adjust a few things in the PC software and/or the amp.
The microphone is tip-top and meets expectations for this price range.
