Moved up from a Sony Alpha 200 and bish...
I've upgraded from a Sony Alpha 200 and so far I'm completely thrilled with this camera. With the 79 focus areas, 15 of which are cross sensors, I can now take about twice as many pictures as before. The speed is breathtaking and if you push it to the limit with 12 photos per second, you need a fast memory card and a second battery. I've had a lot of fun with it so far and can recommend the camera without reservation.

Very good camera, even if it is not the newest. Operation and handling very good.

Handling, swiv. + tiltable display, with FW version 2.0 video in XAVC-S 50p/60p and 50MB/s is now possible, switching between 50p-Pal and 60p-NTSC.

All in all, very easy and good to use, the only drawbacks being size and weight.
Very good camera, easy to use for both the hobbyist and the professional thanks to simple settings and presets.
I prefer manual settings, but those who prefer automatic are well served.
The 79-point focus field is very practical and precise.
All in all, a very good device!
The only drawback is the size and weight, otherwise it would be 5 stars!
But that is generally the case with this type of camera.

My 3rd SONY - great camera, I can only recommend it. Price-performance ratio excellent. It's a pity that the connection feet for additional devices (e.g. flash) are being changed again - I had to buy a small adapter (not expensive). Camera feels great in the hand, the individual control buttons are easy to reach.
A beautiful beast
The A77 v1 is a Twingo and the A77 v2 is an Audi RS. AF race car. I can only recommend it.

the latest firmware is not on it, and must be upgraded later.
After the upgrade, absolutely top camera
When I bought the product, I assumed that only features on the inside had been changed. The new hot shoe unexpectedly generated additional costs because I had to replace the flash accessories.
First photo shoot & video shoot successfully passed.
Have two of them.
But I felt the difference in the firmware during the shoot.Pro

Changed my A77 for the A77 II, the autofocus is really faster than the old model, otherwise no big change on this new model.

according to several forums, the problem with all a-XX series (i.e. a33, a55, a65, a77) seems to be with the shutter. after replacing the shutter system, cameras continued to work fine. As a rule, these usually occurred around 12^000 - 15^000 releases.Pro
