Super hard drive and faster! We have changed to the ps4 and is super great!!! Now we have 1 TB FIXED DISK ON THE PS4
Since my old hard drive gave up the ghost after more than 5 years, I had to get a new one, so I promptly decided on the Segeate Barracude, which has been running perfectly so far.

Sufficient for a replacement in an old laptop.

The hard disk had to be partitioned and formatted first. Then everything worked.

Perfect as a storage drive next to an SSD for the operating system

Am currently constantly replacing Seagate discs on older units. The lifespan of my discs varies greatly. Some have lasted 10 years and over 2000 hours. Others don't even make it to 800. Unfortunately, the discs have always failed on me after the warranty expired. I will do without Seagate for the time being.

Works great on the PS4 Pro after installation.
Fulfills its purpose and I am very satisfied with it.
SSDs are THE must-have nowadays, and besides various other advantages, they have one in particular: conventional HDDs ("spinning rust") have become super cheap. For a stationary computer, on which a unixoid system (/var has constant write accesses!) a conventional HDD makes perfect sense, but also as a backup medium, as in this case (2.5" SATA bay in the case and HDDs/SDDs as removable LW to complement the USB sticks) the one or other HDD still makes sense.
This is not my first Seagate (WD you do not buy), have for the operating systems 4 of the faster with 7200 rpm variants (ST1000LM049) in mirror RAID operation (faster access because two ports are used in parallel).
With SSD this is a little more expensive and not every board has two (or more) M.2 ports for corresponding RAID operation; ergo HDDs to SATA :-)
So far satisfied. Top price/performance ratio for TB/CHF@galaxus.ch

I didn't look for ultra-high transfer speeds. The price/performance ratio is interesting, and Seagate is a good brand with a proven track record.

I can play all my games on it, which I don't play very often at the moment. Even if the load times of these games are longer than on the M.2 Crucial P1 (I did not expect anything else), I find that absolutely fine for the price.
