Unusable for portafilter, because for espresso must be ground so fine that the mill simply does not follow. Too little power, grind come out warm and the mill blocks regularly. May be a good mill for French press, filter and mocha pot, for espresso simply unusable.
The grinder ground reliably for several years and I could grind all the coffee I wanted.
After almost 4 years and daily use, the grinder regularly clogged up. Reason: The ejection wheel is made of plastic and was wearing out. As a result, the grist was no longer transported "outside" and blocked the grinder. I have not been able to find a replacement part.

Super mill. Does its job really well for the price.
Easy to set and save the quantity.
Bean container can be removed at any time.

This review was created for a different variant: The Dose Control Pro (CH plug)
Makes noise in stand-by.
Rarely (but often enough) has an inexplicable error that the grinding simply does not stop until you disconnect it from the power. I.e. you can not grind and in the meantime milk foaming or änliches but must supervise the device otherwise there is a big mess.
Grind quantity gradation too coarse

There is an electrical noise/hum when the grinder is on standby so I need to unplug it after every use.

The machine grinds very well. But it makes a constant buzzing sound unless you unplug it. It also misses a lot of coffee, which is a waste of good coffee.

Device starts grinding process independently without operation (even at night).

Loving our new machine. Works great with our coffee Barista machine.

Very nice coffee grinder with very good grinding result. Comes with many adapters and accessories. Unfortunately, it does not dose very precisely, which is why usually some ground coffee ends up next to the portafilter. The volume is reasonable but certainly not quiet. The additional grinding levels are a big plus, with the finest settings (including the additional 5) you get ground coffee for Turkish coffee. Unfortunately, I can't share any experience on the coarse grind settings (filter, etc.), as I haven't made any such coffees.
