The error appears not with all, but with very many users: Occasionally (about 1-2 times per hour for me) a command input "hangs". E.g. the key W or A, different ones can be affected. Only through internet research I found out that this problem is widely known. Support has now acknowledged a problem, but has not found a solution for several weeks.
The problem is in the software, not in the hardware: If you use (paid) third-party software (reWASD), the error is confirmed NEVER. Unfortunately, the RGB cannot be controlled with it. And as soon as you activate the Synapse 3 software, which unfortunately would also be needed for the light control, the error occurs again.
Fortunately, I don't have any additional Razer hardware, otherwise this otherwise good device would simply be unusable in its sole purpose due to the unreliability of the software. Currently, I use alternative software and just let the color change happen to me.
The problem has been known for a while now. (https://insider.razer.com/index.php)
This is a warning. Too bad about the otherwise valuable product.

I wanted to get me for a long time. Am now very happy with the purchase. At first the keypad took a lot of getting used to and I had to adjust my keybinds first, but after that it's hard to imagine life without it. I can now use four fingers, which I normally use for my WASD control, for other things, since my thumb now takes over most of the motion control.
I hardly use the scroll wheel and the two buttons next to the thumb joystick.
Definitely recommendable for MMO's.
I also use a Razer Naga Trinity.

Once you get used to it, you don't want to give it back.
It just takes time if you want to have your own settings for each game. But it's definitely worth taking the time to set the pad the way you want it! It's great fun to play with it afterwards.
And it's not just for gaming. It can also be useful for photo editing and office work. You just have to create profiles for it :D

Absolutely awesome input device. Really great manufacturing. The software is simply very good from front to back. No matter what you want to set or map (macros and light effects), the software makes it possible.
I bought the Tartarus for health reasons, as it is simply much more pleasant to use than a keyboard (gaming), which means I have less pain in my wrist.
Of course, you still need a conventional keyboard for writing, but that's not a problem as long as you have enough space on your desk.
The price is just sick. Unfortunately, there are no alternatives with mechanical/optical keys. Razer can also charge totally exaggerated prices, as a customer you have the choice between buying or there is nothing else. Well, now and then you have to bite the bullet, health and quality of life come first.

I wouldn't buy the Tartarus anymore. Compared to the forefather of game keyboards, the G13, the Tartarus performs poorly.
Who has a mouse wheel on his mouse does not need the wheel of the Tartarus, you can assign the wheel practically only the same what the mouse already has.
The possibility to give a button two functions that trigger depending on how far you press the button is theoretically ingenious. Practically, this is very inaccurate with optical switches because there is no audible click. And with only 2mm difference, you often press too far.
The keys are mei er opinion too close together and also have no kennzeichnng (Dots, Grip on top).
With the thumb I can just about operate the directional pad, which by the way works poorly, and the wheel well. Button 20 is already too far down/behind (G13 five buttons and joystick). In addition, if you have your thumb on the wheel and you want to go to the directional pad, you are disturbed by the height of the side part where the button for the profiles is. You have to lift your thumb and not too little.

The thumb stick is really crappy, I thought I'd have to send the thing back, but then I realised that you can pull the stick out. So you have a really comfortable 8-way directional pad. In WoW I move left/right to front-left/right and turn to left/right, then back-left with jump and back-right with down for flying around. So I have the 19 buttons free for spells.
The software is cumbersome until you have assigned the functions, but it is very extensive.

Complications can usually be solved by adjusting the settings, e.g. reducing the sensitivity of the joystick.

This keyboard is not easy to get to grips with. You'll need to be patient to get the hang of it.
All the keys can be customised using the brand's software, with different 'profiles' for greater adaptability to different games. Despite this, the keyboard is not suitable for all types of games, mainly because of the keys. While on the one hand the technology allows much better control over games that require levels (racing games and acceleration control for example), the spring-loaded keys can quickly tire the hand on more nervous games (FPS). On the other hand, having a pad on the side allows you to move around in a FPS while bending over (hold down the E/A key and the D/Q key at the same time). Unlike the other comments, I didn't find the 20 button hard to reach, but the mouse wheel is actually superfluous.
What's more, the size of the keyboard makes it very comfortable to use, as it can be placed next to the PC or leaving much more room for the mouse to move around on a tower computer.
The fact remains that the keyboard is not customisable for hand placement, which for me is the big negative point.

The buttons are only labelled with numbers ... how am I supposed to know which one is for what? The distance to the thumb button is also too great.
Would NOT buy this product again - the price in particular is simply far too high

The palm pad cannot be moved, although this is promised in the operating instructions.
The joistick should be exchanged with button 20 or replaced by a button.
The joistick is completely superfluous for an mmo (wow) and cannot be used because you cannot control the char precisely.

The keys should be curved a little more so that you can reach all the keys without moving your hand.

Loses profile in the middle of a game and no longer responds to input. Only after disconnection and reconnect correct function again. Problem can also come from PC, but could not be fixed so far.

Excellent gaming accessory, I use it to play MMO's and the key configuration is done very easily via the Synapse 3 software. If you have other Razer accessories, the RGB will sync perfectly with everything else. A small negative point for the ergonomic adjustment of the hand size, there are only 2 settings available, it would have deserved a more precise system.

Best solution for ex-console players who are now on the PC. Movement like on the controller, the rest like a normal keyboard.
