Simple design, well made, comes with bulb and multifunction remote
It's a great package and well thought out. If you like the design it represents good value. One star docked for the price (I don't need another remote).

Unfortunately online constraints
I have enjoyed using Philips Hue so far. But now Philips is introducing a - completely unnecessary - account requirement: You have to connect the Hue installation to an online account, unnecessarily putting your smart home on the internet. I need light when I'm at home, it's no use to me if I can control the light from the Internet. But then you're at the mercy of Philips when it comes to the security of your smart home.
The Hue system becomes unusable for me and the lights become expensive electronic waste.Pro

with motion detector the perfect combination in the bedroom
I have added a motion detector to the lamp with dimmer.
For me, this is the perfect choice for the sheep room, as night light and daylight are integrated in one device :-)Pro

Good bedside lamp at a fair price
Am very satisfied with this bedside lamp.
