Wow, a big hunk of a CPU cooler. But as big as it is, so is the cooling performance. The cooler cools a Ryzen 7 2700 (8 cores). Under full load, it doesn't get much above 50 °C and no noise can be heard in the closed case. The workmanship is excellent, as are the included accessories (screws, mounting brackets and thermal paste).

The NH-D15 is a cooler of the highest quality. The performance surpasses most 280mm AIOs and that at a very good price (Compared to 280mm).
Not a con for me personally but this thing is huge.

The cooler is absolutely identical to the normal NH-D15 version - only the mounting kit is designed for AM4 (Intel mounting kit is not included).
Therefore better buy the normal version, which has for the same price all mounting kits for Intel and AMD included (AM2+, AM3+, AM4, FM1, FM2, FM2+, LGA 1150, LGA 1155, LGA 1156, LGA 2011, LGA 2011-v3, LGA 1151, LGA 2066, LGA 1200)!
If you already have a NH-D15, you can simply order the NM-AM4 upgrade kit (mounting kit) for the AM4 socket - Noctua will send it to you for free upon request.
I already had the normal version of the NH-D15 and made the mistake of buying this AM4 version - believing that the "baseplate" has a different dimension and the cooler would therefore fit better on AM4. Unfortunately this is not the case, the coolers are identical and I could have ordered the mounting kit for AM4 for free.
Noctua can not help it that I'm a fool - therefore theoretically full score for the cooler. Good thing is the thing allweil, otherwise I would not have bought me the second time. One point deduction, because here (at the same price) the other mounting kits are not included - and because the differences to the normal version are not really explained even at Noctua on the website.

Nice shade of brown, also dissipates heat well.
I really like it, it is really big, it cools the CPU very nice.I have a big case, but still I had to move the fans a bit to the outside as they collide with RAM or MB chip set on the sides, so make sure you have place for it.

I have installed the cooler in my last four systems. I have always been very satisfied. More reliable than any WaKü and, on top of that, even cheaper. Basically, the cooler is easy to install. Depending on how you install the cooler and which RAM you use, the position of the outer fan may have to be adjusted slightly (this may cause the fan to protrude slightly above the specified height of 16.50 cm).

I have never had a bad fan from Noctua. The only thing to watch out for is the installation height, so that the fan fits into the case and the RAM bars are not too high. Otherwise there will be problems with the installation

Very easy to install if there is enough space in the housing.
56~58C on a 2700x at full power during one hour, very efficient cooling and noise is acceptable considering the fan speed (~1500 rpm)
Very quiet CPU cooler, but very large.
Before buying, check whether there is room for the fan in the housing.

The best cooler I've had so far - and there have been a few :-)
Cools the AMD Ryzen 3950X 16C/32T under full load (rendering) with 4.2 GHz to 64 - 59 degrees.
Very flexible and easy installation thanks to two different brackets and the two variably positionable fans, which work very quietly. Good cooling paste is included. Of course, good case ventilation / air circulation is still important!
