Excellent itx board with good set of features no complaints. Updated to a beta bios and installed the new Ryzen 3700X and it handles the new cpu very well. But usb c or vga outputs might have been nice extras.

It's my fourth MSI board and I'm very satisfied. The 1800X also runs without any BIOS updates.

Runs with the RYZEN 3 2200G out-of-the-box.
I have thoroughly tested the MSI B450i on my channel and had the RYZEN 3900 installed on the board myself for several months. I have also tested with a RYZEN 3950X and can confirm that it is possible if the voltage converters are actively cooled. :) MSI did not let itself be lumpen here and used 8 real phases with 60A each (IR3555). Of these, 6 are assigned to the CPU and 2 to the SOC and therefore the board also offers a solid basis for an APU system with its HDMI & DisplayPort. Those who find the B550 a little too expensive, or the additional features do not seem necessary, can save a little with this B450 ITX board without sacrificing quality or performance. In addition, AMD has promised Zen 3 support for upcoming RYZEN 4000 CPUs with future BIOS versions for the B450. :) Therefore this board gets my unrestricted recommendation!
Kind regards

Works with the Ryzen 5 3600 after a BIOS update.
Good alternative to the overpriced x570 boards.

A really cool board for the price. Started super fast too. Has good wifi from Intel no killer wifi crap. For a Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 3 a good choice. Would not use an R7 or R9 with the board, it is supported but not a good idea. Have it with a R5 2400G.

The reason for changing the motherboard was that I had one from the new Ryzen launch, where the BIOS was not yet fully developed. For a small amount of money, I was able to rebuild my components with this motherboard and now benefit from faster RAM (good for Ryzen) and a platform for later 3xxx AM4 processors.
In my big tower case, the board looks lost and you have to make good use of the few connections. The M2 SSD sits behind the board, so the entire computer has to be removed when replacing it. It is also important to ensure that there is enough space to the rear wall.
One star is deducted for the unclear BIOS, the missing optical digital output (could be integrated in the headphone output, as with other boards) and far too many LED controls, whereby a USB connector could be offered here.
