Based on the comments about the very good bass and the fair price, I decided to buy this system.
The speakers that come with it are so-so, a bit worse than my last ones. The bass is great for punching bass, but not quite right for basslines (I often listen to drum and bass). At a certain frequency, the bass amplifies by about twice as much all at once, which gives a somewhat unbalanced bass image.
For the price, however, all in all tiptop.

As a PC sound system 2.1, the system makes a good impression, both for films and for games. The sound is excellent and you can turn up the bass hard enough to make your monitor shake. Especially in quiet use, the sound still has volume, which is important to me. In terms of price/performance, it's perfectly fine.
The control is integrated in the right speaker. The cable from the right speaker to the subwoofer is quite thick and, for me, short but sufficient. In addition, I glued felt pads to the subwoofer, as the rubber is very thin and I find it too close to the floor. Connected to the PC with a simple loudspeaker jack.Pro

I've had this Logitech for about a year now, and I really value good quality music. I can definitely recommend it for listening to music. But what I clearly notice is that it just doesn't have good highs. The advantage is that you can turn it up loud without getting an earache (because the high tones really pull on your ears at high volume). For music like hip-hop, rock, etc., they are very good for the price.
But if you listen to classical music, violin etc., I wouldn't recommend them. I wouldn't recommend them, because the highs are missing.
If you like to watch films and expect a really great little home cinema, you're in the wrong place. I would say it serves as a small entry-level model for the small purse.

So, about the standby mode: it switches off automatically after a longer period of not listening, but as soon as a sound is played, it is immediately back. It also doesn't switch off by itself when you're watching a film, as was the case with the Z506 version, which was very annoying - you had to switch the speakers off and on again to get the sound back. I didn't find anything to complain about in terms of bass or sound. What I found surprising was that the bass box is quite big compared to the Z506 version, the boxes themselves are also bigger and heavier. All in all, I'm very satisfied with everything and haven't found any negative features yet :-) That's good. A word to Galaxus, the delivery was very quick despite having ticked the slow delivery possible box. Thumbs up and keep it up. I hope I was able to help you a little, I would buy them again at any time and recommend them to others.

I have been using the speakers for about 1.5 years. The sound is not bad for the size of the speakers and the bass. However, the sound cable on the bass has had a loose contact for about 2-3 months. If you bend the cable to the left, it cracks loudly in the bass and no sound comes out. It works again in the other direction. I bent the cable to the right and fixed it with cable ties and Velcro strips. It seems to work. The sound is suitable for films (THX) and series. Thanks to the well-defined bass, games are also fun. For music, I miss the highs and there is a lot of "compression". By that I mean you can't hear all the details. But that's not bad. This is also more of an all-rounder system and for this purpose it is brilliant.

I connected it to the TV via the headphone/jack connection and the sound is completely sufficient for games, movies, etc., if you still love your neighbours.

Ingenious sound. Very suitable for hip hop and general bass-heavy sound. Less recommended for classical music. Otherwise pop, rock etc. brilliant! Also good if you stand sideways from the speakers or further away.

Just set up the system. The sound is amazing!!! My brother has an old X 230 system. With some songs, the voice is barely audible and I was already afraid that it would be the same here. But everything is crystal clear! The bass control on the right satellite is great, never crawl under the table again!

Surprised in a good way.
Having personally participated in the development of HiFi amplifiers at Thorens (a long time ago, but quality is not forgotten) I find this system to be excellent value for money. I bought the Logitech Z623 for a flat screen TV whose sound quality left a lot to be desired. Surprised by the 2.1 sound system that I tested for the first time, after a few tests and adjustments I was able to appreciate the different qualities.
It should be noted that the TV broadcasts sounds with a very variable quality depending on the programmes we are watching. Speech comprehension, music, background noise, are all different situations, not to mention the new techniques of artificial ambience in films (Sensurround) that it is quite difficult not to touch up from one situation to another, the bass and mid-high settings.
Despite this I find the sound quality very good. The overpowering (adjustable) but clean bass, a clean midrange and clear highs give me complete satisfaction in the use I make of it in a living room of about 30 m2.
On the other hand, if the latest blockbuster is playing on TV and you are in another room, you will have the pleasure (!!!) as well as your neighbours to hear the boom-boom and other low frequency sound effects.
To conclude, without being a HiFi system, it provides a fairly pleasant reproduction of the entire sound range (depending on the not always easy adjustment of the power and bass).
