    Good

Not suitable for interactive switching. Product is good for fixed switching scenarios that are saved by means of a configuration file.

    Unusable

Since digitec didn't carry the device at first, I bought it in Austria - I don't like or want to remember the price.

The idea would be good, it goes in the direction of Smart Home incl. scenarios and automatisms. We have
had about 25 Jalusien radio actuators (CMT-500) in our house for many years. Something like this is obvious. Especially since the TMT-2100 programmable remote control has been removed from the Intertechno range for many years without replacement.

Unfortunately, the integration does not work with the Swisscom standard WLAN router. On the advice of Intertechno support, I also had to deactivate the 5th GHz WLAN (but this is necessary for Swisscom TV) and reset the router. I also had to deactivate my Unifi access points, which I urgently need. Without success. I've been waiting for a week for the next reaction - I don't think anything more will come at the moment.

Support has already told me that they can't support every router. But is the standard router of the presumably largest telecom provider in Switzerland "every"?

Intertechno built good devices very early on and then stopped. Software and Intertechno - that doesn't go together - unfortunately.

For me, the device is unusable. I will wait a few months, try it again and if it still doesn't work (with 5 GHz WLAN and my AccessPoints switched on), then the part will be disposed of because of my nerves and I will look for another solution, in the worst case with replacement of all radio actuators.

BTRIGENS: The device works. I was able to set up a WLAN with one mobile phone and then operate the master gate with a second mobile phone, test two actuators on it - without any problems.

So it is purely a software matter.

If anyone has a super working alternative, I would be very interested in tips.

Cannot be connected to the network, despite support from Intertechno

Unfortunately, I cannot report anything about the Intertechno MasterGate because the device cannot be integrated into my WLAN network.
After contacting Intertechno support, they gave me the following information:
    1. only
works in the 2.4 GHz network
    2. the password of the network may only have 8 digits without the probe character.
Unfortunately, these hints were not successful.
Then I was advised to try the installation via a hotspot; I tried this via my Netgear Aircard 210. My iPhone immediately logged into the network, but the Mastergate was once again left out.
This is very sad from my point of view, as I already have a whole arsenal of Intertechno devices and now cannot use this as a SmartHome switch.
Considering the price of CHF 178, the device, which is packaged in cheap plastic, does not seem recommendable to me.

Disappointingly bad and not up to date

At the beginning it still worked to switch 2 lamps with 1 motion detector and a switch.
However, the SW independently twisted the configuration so that sometimes only 1 lamp was lit.
after a reset, I wanted to set up the
whole thing again, but nothing works any more, because there is not even a hard reset button.
In addition, the lamps cannot be switched on together, there is a delay of what feels like 10 seconds from one lamp to the other.
if it was made in China I would understand but from Austria really ...
conclusion : once again money wasted for junk

    Totally not recommended

This Intertechno IT-MG is the biggest piece of crap I have ever bought. Various IT specialists have now tried their hand at it. No chance, it doesn't work. Hands off this crap. I, like almost all other buyers, can NOT integrate it into the network. Password may only have 8 digits and no special characters. Who wants a device that still works with such insecure passwords! Whoever still sells such junk today should be punished and Digitec's offer is very disappointing. Especially as the device only works in the 2.4Ghz network. Sorry, such devices were modern 10 years ago. I advise everyone to keep their fingers away.

The radio transmitter from Intertechno can more....

Unfortunately, you can't even programme a timer. Scenes are possible but don't do anything for me. The hub from Intertechno actually covers everything.
