Meets all my expectations.
I need the ComputeStick via Wifi/RD/iPad when I want to read out measuring devices on the road that are only x86 compatible and therefore an RPi does not work.
Thanks to the Intel Compute Stick, I was able to turn my old TV into a "Smart TV". Youtube and internet work fine and have done so for almost a year without any problems.

I have been using the INTEL PC stick as my portable cloud front end for some time,
mainly for RDP sessions. The performance is very good enough for this.
The performance seems good for the price.
Anyone who expects to be able to view complex websites smoothly will be disappointed.
But you shouldn't expect that either.
Of course, this is not an issue via RDP.

I use the device for simple applications such as watching movies via browser or VPN connections. Works perfectly.

Ideal for turning any HDMI display into a smart display. Great for photo and video playback, but limited for other functions.

Connected and set up super fast. I use the device exclusively for surfing and remote working. My first experience is that it is suitable for this. Low noise development.
Even if nothing is installed on it, the system is extremely slow and the internal memory is not enough to download the new Windows updates... But of course that's to be expected at this price.
For simple tasks such as surfing or text editing, the stick is certainly sufficient, but for larger tasks or large MS updates, the performance limit is quickly reached. The fan is audible under load but not annoying. 2GB RAM is very limited these days.
The stick can be switched to 64bit operation, but then the line goes down even more. I wouldn't recommend a resolution higher than Full HD either (jerky).

Fulfils its purpose. Connect it, install 1-2 programmes and apps and you have full PC functionality on the TV. Perfect for streaming browsing and watching YouTube. No gaming machine is expected at this price, but there are other platforms...

Very mediocre processor performance, ok an Atom doesn't bring much, especially if only equipped with 2GB RAM.

Ideal for streaming on the TV and viewing photos on the big TV. Performance is not outstanding, but sufficient for streaming and photos.

It's my second one already. I have it connected to the TV. Perfect for streaming films online.
The Intel Compute Stick was a great purchase. It is used in our workshop (automotive industry) and actually fulfils everything it promises.
Only the wireless transmission could be a bit stronger. We had a USB stick as a WLAN receiver on our old PC and it always received well, but now that the Intel Compute Stick was not as strong, I had to pull out an access point in the workshop.
In terms of speed, it does what it should, it's not a rocket but it doesn't have to be.

Cool device. I bought the client in combination with a touch monitor. What I find a bit unfortunate is that you can't power the stick via USB. It beeps quietly (for people with sensitive hearing).
Perfect. For the price of Windows 10, directly a PC with it. It's ideal for connecting to an HDTV. Add a Bluetooth keyboard with integrated mouse pad and everything runs smoothly!

A good part for the price. Does what it should...
The thing quickly reaches its limits because the RAM requirement is quickly full. Especially if you run Firefox with many add-ons. Therefore, it is sufficient for writing and documenting. Demanding PPT and image editing sometimes require a lot of patience. In addition, the small fan will draw attention to itself^^. With 32gb, the memory is also visibly full. Max 128gb microSD can be expanded with 200gb I failed several times. The internet runs faster on slim browsers (I use Vivaldi). It is recommended to work with a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse as both USB inputs can be used for other purposes. Tip: use a USB extension cable if the slim stick disappears behind the monitor.
The biggest annoyance of all is when a major update comes from MS. Because then the WLAN driver is simply shot and the device is useless! It is highly recommended that you save the driver file on the stick so that you can install the driver again.

Very good product !!
Simple surfing works. However, having Youtube and Netflix open as tabs in the browser pushes the device to its limits.

Price-performance ratio is right. However, this computer stick has big problems with cooling. As a result, it tackles itself down quickly. I have now mounted a usb fan on it. 4k is possible, but videos are no longer 100% smooth.

If the stick is only used for Internet or Youtube, this version is fully sufficient.
This will always be a second computer, rather than somebody's first. It assumes you have a monitor with an HDMI, plus a keyboard and mouse. If you don't and are looking to buy these as well, then buy a mini desktop.
Looking at the negatives first, HDMI is not powered, so there can be a bit of a cable mess as /another/ socket is needed for power. There is also no audio mic' so, Bluetooth will be used somewhere, either for the audio channels or wireless keyboard / mouse. Clearly there is no ethernet.
On the plus sides, the Compute Stick is fast enough, Windows works ok [opinions of W10 aside....], there two USBs, almost silent running, an HDMI Extention cable included in the box and a Kensington lock. WIndows is also "region free" meaning at initial boot up, your language, region, keyboard choices etc are all set up, regardless of your language you can set up as you wish.
If you're looking for a second device, but want / need the screen resolution of your main machine, this makes some sense and certainly more sense than buying the low end landfill 11 inch laptops stuffed with eMMC memory.

We are using the device for an HTML/CSS/JS-based dashboard. It is very pleasing that the device works right out-of-the-box (Win10) and offers very good display performance with Firefox. CSS animations in particular run smoothly and playing HD YouTube videos is without problems.
An HDMI cable is included, which makes an immediate installation on the display possible. The buttons on the device could be a little more cleverly designed; the device is inadvertently switched off from time to time by accidentally pressing the on/off button. Working in Windows sporadically has short waiting times, but that is secondary for our intended use.

Perfect for lightweight usage. Ideal replacement if your only laptop is down for long maintenance. Buy some wireless keyboard with mouse pad, hook it up to your monitor/TV and it will do the job.
