Fujifilm FUJINON XF 50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR
Fujifilm Fujinon XF, APS-C / DX
The Fujinon XF 50-140 is a super sharp lens through all focal lengths wide open.
With X cameras without correction, there is only a little vignetting, which can be easily corrected. The zoom ring is easy to turn and you don't have to be a 'handyman'. The aperture ring is now really tight and clicks into place.
The lens shows flair when you shoot directly into the midday sun.
Chromatic aberration simply does not exist with this lens.
Whoever complains about the weight should -> read the data beforehand <-.
Anyone complaining about the price should -> Read the price list beforehand.
(If the lens is too expensive for you, you don't have to buy it).
Because the price-performance ratio is completely in order for a pro lens newly introduced to the market.
The autofocus is controlled by three linear motors. This is fast and almost silent.
The obi lens is the fastest focusing lens in the Fuji series. However, it can only focus as fast as the camera controls it. Motorically, it is on par with an EF 70-200L IS USM II.
The OIS is by far the best I have seen. I don't have particularly steady hands, but with OIS at 140mm I can get razor-sharp images at 1/8 shutter speed without a problem!
It replaced the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS usm II for me and I am thrilled!
The minus points are not a problem for me. Therefore, anyone who is concerned about the minus points should feel and listen to such a lens before buying it and not complain afterwards.

Super lens for razor sharp images. Is relatively light, focuses very quickly & accurately and also works perfectly with the new fast Fujifilm X-T1.

Really great lens, if you are not used to heavy lenses it might surprise you in the beginning, but you'll adjust fairly quickly. I'm a beginner but even I managed to get some decent shots right away

Super lens, very sharp with continuous aperture of F2.8. Unfortunately not so nice bokeh. Weight is also great for a lens of this size.
Pro

Very flexible thanks to the zoom range of 50-140 mm and the continuous aperture of F2.8 very bright. Very suitable for wildlife photography and portraits. Unfortunately not the most beautiful bokeh, you have to consciously select the background and play with the aperture. And of course very heavy. Ergonomically, the T-series with a hand-held or battery grip or, of course, the H1 is the best choice.

Bright and high image quality
After a few missions:
Great workmanship, very good sharpness, relatively light and compact (comparable Canon or Nikon telezooms weigh about 50% more), fast AF (on X-T1), super image stabilisation, good price.

The XF 50-140mm f2.8 is one of the holy-threes of f/2.8 zooms for photography. And here, too, Fuji has done a first-class job with the LM and the built-in OIS. Yes, at CHF 1199 it's not exactly cheap for an APS-C, but extrapolated to KB it's the equivalent of a 75-210mm f2.8, i.e. the classic 70-200mm f2.8. And when I look at what that costs at Canon, Nikon or Sony, I can almost buy all three 2.8 zooms from Fuji.

classic "retiree lens", for capturing wild animals and neighbors. of course a heavy thing, but a canon can't and doesn't have to be light, and a canon, that's the thing. use it as a reportage lens when i need to quickly switch from 50mm to 140mm. image stabilizer great, but of course not particularly useful when you're shooting moving people.

Excellent lens for nature, wildlife and portrait photography. Would buy the lens again immediately, the price is justified and the investment is worth it.

Simply super! It's just incredible what this lens does. You can absolutely compare this lens to Fuji's prime lenses. The only drawback (only when carried) is the weight.

A very solid lens . It is robustly constructed and shines with excellent image quality. The built-in image stabiliser works very reliably and provides absolutely reliable support when shooting handheld.

I knew what I was getting into (a magnificent but heavy lens) and I have no complain.

Beautiful lens, the top of Fuji's zoom. It's really hard to miss shots with this zoom. Brilliant!

Lens with a good constant aperture, tropicalised, high quality with great sharpness and bokeh.
Coupled with a 1.4 teleconverter, this makes two fantastic lenses.

This is a great lens, especially for sports photography. Crisp and light compared to lenses from other suppliers.

Very good photo quality! Very stable and fast for animal photos.
Fantastic images and good OIS
A little heavy, but for the speed and zoom range you have to make sacrifices somewhere.
Typical good build quality from Fuji

Equivalent to any 70-200mm 2.8 in the high-end 35mm format

This is a fabulous lens. Across the entire focal length range the sharpness is fabulous, and the autofocus is fast and accurate.
The stabilisation is simply breathtaking. You have to try it to believe it.
