The initial enthusiasm has meanwhile given way to disillusionment due to recurring problems with the paper feed (sheets of 80 g/m2 are often fed in double) and paper jams when using thicker papers (e.g. photo paper with over 200 g/m2). Unfortunately, the paper format recognition in copy mode is also insufficient, so that time-consuming manual entries are necessary.

Delivery time too long.
No communication on the part of digitec, even against request, about the whereabouts of the goods.

I'm waiting to see how it works with refillable ink, i.e. whether it's really economical. But anyway, it's likely that the rather large ink bottles are cheaper in material and labour than the individual cartridges that would have to be used for the same amount of ink.

Excellent scanner and ink saving, perfect!
A very good printer with many setting options. It is possible to print and scan in A3. The EcoTank also makes printing very affordable.

I was really looking forward to this printer. Unfortunately, the quality of the printer drivers and Epson software on the Mac is a disaster. There is no way to quickly and easily set up a double-sided print job. To do this, you always have to laboriously switch to the printer settings. Absolute "no go".
In addition, the printer often displays the error message "Paper jam" even though there is no jam.
The error message "Wrong paper length" also often appears, even though A4 has been inserted and selected in the printer driver. The many error messages also result in a lot of waste, as double-sided printouts are aborted after one page.
With double-sided A4 printing, very slight indentations sometimes appear on the short edge.
No recommendation to buy at the moment. Maybe Epson will get the software problems sorted out.
