Cooler Master Notepal U3 Plus
I had a Zahlmann notebook cooler for many years, but over time the fan started to drag. The Cooler Master caught my eye because you can place the fans freely. My Zahlmann had only one big fan and the ventilation slots of my Notbook are on the top left and right.
By positioning the 80mm fans under the vents, it blows cool air directly to where it's needed, but the 80mm fans make significantly more noise than a 200mm fan, which also bothered me a lot. Then I found out that exactly 3x 120mm fit side by side underneath. I bought the bequiet 120mm and off I went. Unfortunately, the USB adapter delivers only about 5V, so the fans hardly work. I bought a universal power supply at the hardware store, where you can adjust the current up to 12V (at 1500mA). A foot switch (like a floor lamp) in between and now I can switch the fans on/off comfortably.
Pretty idiotic to go to such lengths? Maybe, but my notebook isn't carried around much and thanks to the external power supply the silent fans can blow cool air to the right places. The CPU and GPU temperatures are now only between 50 and 70 degrees, which also means the system fans rev up much less.
Cooler Master would have better charged 20-30 bucks more, included proper 120mm fans and an external power supply, then the thing would be top. As a private hobbyist, it was a bit more expensive, but the system isn't maxed out even after hours of gaming.

Exceeds my expectations in every respect. Since I put the Cooler Master into operation, my laptop runs like clockwork.
No more overheating thanks to the fans that are targeted to attach where it is necessary. Also to transport no problem, can be well packed together with the laptop. Price-performance very good!

Love the product! After 9 hours of R & Python coding, the computer was fresher than a summer breeze (usually it would be hot enough to iron my shirts).
Very nice iron and plastic/silicone design, great fan fixing system, it's not even really loud.
The USB cable has a USB port attached to where you plug it in your computer meaning you can still use another USB device on the USB port of the cooling master.
The only issue for me was the elastic band that doesn't seem to secure my pc enough to carry with me outside, but then again who tf goes outside anyways.

It's a good idea to have at least this size to accommodate an ASUS ROG Zephyrus M. It allows to evacuate the overheating, but in no way it allows to cool below the maximum "acceptable" temperature under full load. It's good that you can unclip and install the fans where it's most necessary. But sorry, but I find them not very discreet... too bad. It lacks an ON/OFF button. As long as they are connected via USB to your portabel and the portabel is on, the cool master fans will run too... too bad because you don't need them for office work and as I said before: they are not particularly discreet. The tilt is good and appreciable.

Works very well at the moment. My computer is well cooled. I can choose the location of the fans to optimize the cooling which is a very good point. The fans can be heard a little but nothing too bad, with headphones you can hear them more. The only fault was the very late delivery from cooler master. Thanks to digitec for keeping me informed by email but I expected more from cooler master. I have been waiting for more than a month for a parcel that was supposed to arrive 10 days after the order, I find that scandalous... Next time I will not buy a product from cooler Master.

With my gaming laptop, I can now play through longer sessions without a guilty conscience. Thanks to the individually placeable fans, I can choose where fresh air should come in. If you're expecting a small tornado, you'll be disappointed: the fans are quite weak. But they are quiet....
If you think you can solve all the thermal problems of powerful laptops with the Notepal U3, you are wrong.
My only concern was to eliminate the heat build-up underneath the notebook and to allow it to cool down more quickly after gaming. And that's what I achieved with the Notepal.
Positive side effect:
Because the heat is dissipated better underneath, the keyboard stays cooler. No more sweaty fingers!
